Year 1: Project area was fenced to exclude grazing. Soil preparation: opening of cubic pits (50 cm) and, only on steeper slopes, creation of horizontal strips (up to 1 m width). Plantation: 1-2 years old saplings.;
Year 2 & 3: Reduction of natural vegetation competition and replacement of failures. |
